The Warehouse Palletizer is a physically demanding job that involves manually stacking products onto pallets for shipment on bulk and route trucks. Precision is crucial in ensuring the correct orders are loaded onto outgoing trucks and unloaded from incoming trucks. Utilizing equipment such as forklifts and electronic pallet jacks is necessary, following instructions from electronic order systems or order sheets to complete tasks efficiently.

The primary duties consist of verifying precision in the loading process and adhering to shipping and receiving paperwork. This position requires upholding cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace, being prepared to work in diverse weather circumstances, and adjusting shift lengths according to workload demands.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Truck Loading: Truck Loading involves transferring complete pallets of items onto trucks, unloading any returned pallets, and loading bulk packages onto trailers.
• Raw Material Handling: Unloading of raw materials and transferring them to assigned storage areas is a critical aspect of raw material handling.
• Pallet Building: Choose specific product bundles in the storage area, arrange and secure pallets with shrink-wrap, and transfer them onto trucks for transportation.
• Customer-Specific Loading: Tailoring loading procedures to accommodate individual salesperson orders for delivery via route trucks.
• Unloading: Remove items and pallets/plastic bases from delivery vehicles.
• Physical Requirements: Regularly transport containers of merchandise weighing between 20 to 45 pounds during working hours. The job necessitates constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and gripping activities.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

• Utilize power pallet jacks or forklifts for the purpose of selecting and loading items based on load sheets or voice-pick technology.
• Mark tickets as sold out for items that are not available.
• Secure pallets with wrapping after finishing the loading process.
• Present documentation along with orders for authentication prior to commencement of loading procedures.
• Arrange pallets on the stage and then proceed to load them onto the trucks once prepared.
• Consolidate incomplete pallets and organize assortments on pallets for storage.
• Uphold cleanliness expectations within the workspace.
• Maintain consistent, dependable, and anticipated presence.

Basic Qualifications:

• Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted.

Preferred Experience:

• Practical involvement in a warehouse setting like picking orders, organizing merchandise, preparing for shipment, and utilizing motorized pallet jacks/forklifts.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift, including basic functions such as moving forward or backward, raising and lowering the boom, and navigating through confined areas.
• Knowledge of utilizing racking systems and handling pallets during loading and unloading processes (placing and pulling pallets on racking systems and trucks).
• Collaborative work involvement, where individuals come together to tackle challenges collectively, is known as teamwork experience.
