PepsiCo is seeking a dedicated and skilled Transport Driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. As a Transport Driver, you play a critical role in ensuring PepsiCo products are delivered on time, maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation and Delivery:

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer) in compliance with DOT regulations and PepsiCo safety standards.
• Safely deliver PepsiCo products to designated customer locations or distribution centers.
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedules, ensuring on-time arrival.

Load Management:

• Verify the accuracy of product deliveries, ensuring proper loading and unloading of goods.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and cargo meet safety requirements.
• Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, mileage logs, and fuel usage.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow company policies regarding vehicle operation, safety protocols, and delivery procedures.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate professionally with customers and resolve any delivery-related concerns.
• Provide excellent service to maintain strong customer relationships.

Safety and Maintenance:

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Report any mechanical issues or necessary repairs to the fleet management team.
• Adhere to PepsiCo’s safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience as a commercial truck driver preferred, especially in beverage delivery or distribution.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Comfortable with extended periods of driving and physical activity.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions.
