Pepsico is hiring for Merchandiser

Overview: As a Merchandiser for PepsiCo, you will be responsible for stocking and organizing products within large volume stores such as grocery stores. This position requires physical labor and involves interacting with store personnel to ensure products are displayed and rotated properly.

Compensation:

• $21.85 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment like U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to move products.
• Display promotional materials such as signs and banners.
• Maintain a neat and orderly backroom stock.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan-in/scan-out, following designated route).
• Service accounts during designated times.
• Deliver excellent customer service and operate with minimal supervision.
• Use handheld devices for order management.
• Regular, reliable attendance is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass the physical capabilities test if applicable.
• Must have personal transportation to access multiple store locations.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Helpful Experience:

• Retail or grocery store experience.
• Experience in moving and merchandising products.
• Background in managing backroom/stock room inventory.
• Customer service experience.

Additional Information:

• Mileage reimbursement is provided for positions requiring personal vehicle use.
