Position: Manager of Software Engineering
The Manager of Software Engineering plays a pivotal role in PepsiCo’s software development activities and strategic transformation initiatives. This leader will oversee end-to-end software development, deliver high-quality software solutions, and ensure value generation through cost savings or incremental benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to build and support digital products and applications across strategic priorities.
- Partner with teams including User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, and Process Engineering to deliver the digital products portfolio.
- Develop and execute software development strategies based on industry standards.
- Create and manage the roadmap for digital product implementation.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performance engineering team.
- Drive consensus for solutions across internal teams.
- Expand DPA capabilities through AI-driven and personalized digital solutions.
- Manage delivery impediments, risks, and changes tied to engineering initiatives.
- Interact with business partners to recommend strategic solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $125,000 - $217,500 (dependent on location, skills, experience, and education).
- Performance Bonus: Target payout of 12% of annual salary.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant software development and engineering management experience.
- 4+ years of experience in CRM solutions, preferably in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- 4+ years of mobile development experience (iOS, Java, Python, Objective-C expertise).
- Preferred experience in React Native framework for mobile development.
- 6+ years of database experience (RDBMS and NoSQL).
- 4+ years managing diverse development teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile project management, Kanban, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with multi-tier and service-oriented architecture design.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
- Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 systems and SaaS solutions.
