Accurately receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise are essential duties as a Backroom organizer at Lowe's. Further, your role requires you to maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment always.

Responsibilities:

• It's important to remember that every interaction with a customer is an opportunity to make a positive impression. This means going above and beyond to exceed their expectations and leave a lasting impression
• Procure, retain, and rejuvenate products
• Adhering to the correct lifting procedures can significantly reduce the risk of pain, strains, and other body injuries that may occur when handling products
• Effectively and safely transfer items from incoming cargo to storage
• Deliver merchandise to the retail space and supply different departments
• Ensuring safety with hazardous materials and replacing damaged shelves
• Properly managing the backroom and making certain that all equipment is charged are two critical duties that require diligent attention
• Plan Ahead to Keep Your Inventory Shipshape

Requirements:

• Skill to grasp and plan for the physical demands of moving merchandise for the major part of your working hours
• Available All Week for All Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Overnight
• Proficiency in accomplishing tasks that demand prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and other physical actions vital to fulfilling work obligations
• Competence to lift 25 pounds without any support; permitted to lift over 25 pounds solo or with aid

Travel Requirements:

Regular travel is not expected for this role, but there may be a need to attend meetings, training, or offer assistance to neighboring stores on some occasions.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills and can work well within a team:

• The store has its own requirements, and hence, the applicants who can commit to full-time or part-time work for hours on an hourly basis are preferred
• The ability to read fluently, write coherently, and perform basic arithmetic operations (such as addition and subtraction) is an essential prerequisite for successful functioning in today's society
• The job mandate necessitates a three-month minimum of experience working with forklifts, lifts, or related power equipment
• The job listing calls for a candidate who has worked in a warehouse for six months and has experience with inventory management and restocking
