Pepsico is hiring for Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in supporting PepsiCo’s logistics and distribution operations. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. Key responsibilities include receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Storing Products: Unload trucks, check in products, and store them in the appropriate locations. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damage.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular counts and managing stock levels to ensure availability for distribution. Report discrepancies or issues to management.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products according to customer orders or shipment requirements. Prepare shipments by labeling, packaging, and ensuring that orders are complete and accurate.
• Shipping and Distribution: Load products onto delivery trucks or pallets for shipment. Ensure that all shipping documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any malfunctions.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area.
• Documentation and Reporting: Complete necessary paperwork related to inventory, shipping, and receiving. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training may be provided).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.

Helpful Experience:

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with inventory management and shipping procedures.
• Previous experience in a distribution or logistics role.
